Is Turkish hard to learn for an English speaker?

Turkish is rated Category 4 of 5 for difficulty. The sentence structure (subject-object-verb instead of subject-verb-object) takes some getting used to. But the Latin alphabet (29 letters, highly phonetic) is a major advantage, you read Turkish exactly as it's written. The grammar is logical and consistent, with very few exceptions.
