Are Slovak and Czech the same language?

No, but they are over 90% mutually intelligible. The two languages are understood without an interpreter, Czechs and Slovaks watch the same films without subtitles. The differences lie in vocabulary (a few dozen common words), accent and some structures. If you learn Slovak, you'll understand Czech quickly, and vice versa.

Is Slovakia a good place to work in the automotive industry?
